Everything you need for a comfortable stay at Big Isle Retreat.
Entry
The smart lock on the front door requires a PIN code (provided in your check-in message). Enter the code, press the shield button, wait 5 seconds, then open.
WiFi
Network: 183 Church
Password: 183Church! (case sensitive)
Kitchen
Samsung electric stove and oven with basic condiments provided.
Stove operation: Power switch on wall above stove. Press lock button 3 seconds (beep), power button 3 seconds (beep), select desired burner, use +/- or swipe to adjust heat.
Dishwasher: Tablets under sink. Insert tablet, close, press large "On" button.
Espresso machine: Located above dishwasher. Requires power switch on and water in back container. Open front lever, insert Nespresso-compatible pod, close lid, press coffee button. Pods available at Coles (900m toward Cowes).
Dining Room
A/C and fan remote located next to front door.
Light switch at base of stairs.
Activate fan via middle light switch — listen for beep sound, then use remote to adjust speed.
Living Room
TV: Samsung remote on coffee table. Press power or select Netflix. Free-to-air TV accessible via channel buttons.
Pool table: Equipment in wall rack near back door.
A/C: Remote on coffee table. Press power, then up/down for temperature.
Upstairs Rumpus
Wall-mounted TV with remote charging on office desk. Press power, then centre Smart button to access apps including Netflix. Free-to-air via channel buttons.
Bedrooms
Ceiling fans: Wall switch dial near bedroom entry.
Kids bedroom: Fujitsu A/C with wall-mounted remote.
Other bedrooms: Fujitsu A/C controlled by remotes on bedside tables.
BBQ & Alfresco
Gas BBQ: Remove cover, open lid, turn gas bottle dial to full, press igniter button (clicking sound confirms start). Keep igniter pressed 5 seconds; wait 30 seconds if unsuccessful. Turn second dial to full.
After use: turn gas dial completely off, clean grill, close lid, replace cover.
Coal BBQ: Red unit near fire pit. Coals stored beneath unit with lighter. Fire lighters and smoker chips in black boxes nearby (recommended for experienced users only).
Fire Pit
Wood stored near coal BBQ area. Fire starters in black box nearby.
Additional wood available from the local petrol station or hardware store.
Sonos Speakers
1. Connect your device to the Sonos WiFi network
2. Download the Sonos S1 App
3. Open the app
4. Tap "Connect" when prompted
5. Tap "Let's connect"
6. Press Join button on nearest Sonos product if multiple systems exist
7. Select "Done" when connection confirmed
